10th Anniversary of Ashby Santa Fun Run!  Event Returns for 2024!

We are delighted to announce the return of the Ashby Santa Fun Run & Walk 2024!

 

It's a very special year for us as we celebrate our 10th Anniversary!

​

People who have followed the progress of this event over the years will understand the fantastic amounts of money you've all helped us to raise over the years which now stands at over £90,000. We're pulling our all the stops this year to push this figure through the £100,000 barrier! Held as normal over the Ashby Christmas lights switch on weekend, we'll be holding the event on Sunday 1st December.

We'll be looking to open entries for this years event in October so keep an eye out here and on our Facebook page for details of when we're live.

We continue to develop this fun event and we'll continue to look to add some extra bits this year with extra entertainment on the Bath Grounds and a few other improvements that we'll announce in the coming weeks. We'll continue to offer discounted family and group tickets to help to maintain the great value of this event and continue our successful fancy dress competition which will see us hand out some great prizes. We'll again be asking people to dress in their best, bright Christmas clothes/fancy dress with prizes for the best dressed children and adults! We're hoping to see plenty of Santa hats, Christmas jumpers or a full Santa or Christmas suit, whatever you choose.....obviously the bigger, brighter and more festive the better!

​All entrants will still receive a medal and there will also be a free chocolate bar for all who enter.

​

Entries will be £7 per person for all ages with a family/group ticket available for 2 adults and 2 children at £25.

What a Fantastic Event!​

Thank you to every body who took part in the 2023 Ashby Santa Fun Run & Walk. Despite the cold and very festively snowy conditions we had a great morning down on the Bath Grounds with such great support from you all turning out despite the weather. Even having to make some late adjustments to the course and shortening the routes slightly due to the pavement conditions, there were smiles everywhere. We saw some fantastic festive fancy dress and you all look amazing!

 

We're busily working away now on sorting the money side of things and would be grateful if any of you collected sponsorship money you could get that collected in and brought to us as soon as possible. Details of how to do this are on our sign up page. Once we've collected everything in we'll be presenting the cheques to the charities in early January and then make a formal announcement as to how much money you've all helped us to raise this year!
